1. Can I book my seats in advance?


All seats are allocated on booking either at our offices, with a local agent or on our website online

2. When will I be notified about my pick up time for my holiday or short break?


We always try to give at least 10 days notice for your pick up time.

3. What if I cancel my day trip booking?

We will try to re-sell your seats for you - if we do then you can expect a full refund. Please contact the office for further advice.

4. Do I need Insurance for my holiday or short break?

We recommend insurance on all our short breaks and holidays. L.J Edwards do not sell insurance but you can purchase at many high street locations and supermarkets. Without insurance you will be required to pay for any charges relating to medical expenses or repatriation to your home address.

5. Do I receive a reminder about the balance due on my holiday?

No, the balance due date is printed on your confirmation when booking. We will not take payment from your card without you contacting us and giving us your card details to take final payment

6. What is my luggage allowance?

Your driver will have to lift your case on to the coach by hand. Most customers are careful and don't overpack, although where required we may refuse to take your luggage if your case weighs over 20kgs. Please try to keep your luggage to a minimum - and due to space no more than 1 suitcase per person can be taken and hand luggage should be kept to a minimum.

7. Do you issue gift vouchers?

Yes, you can have a gift voucher. You can contact our office or buy them online from our website.

8. Do I spend much time on the coach picking up other passengers?

As you are picked up for your holiday or short break from home we can tailor the coach pick up points to the needs of the holiday. This generally means that within 1 hour or boarding your coach all passengers will have boarded and you will be actually on your holiday, rather than spending the day collecting passengers across several counties.

9. Do your coaches have a washroom?

Yes, all our day excursion and holiday coaches have washroom and toilet facilities

10. Can I smoke on your coach?

By law, we operate a NO SMOKING onboard our company vehicles

11. Do I have to wear a seat belt on the coach?

Yes, for your safety all our coaches have seat belts fitted which you should wear at all times whilst the vehicle is in motion.

12. How can I pay for my holiday?

You can pay via Debit or Credit card either online or over the phone. We also accept cheque and even cash to our office on occassion.

13. Door - door holidays

All our holidays are door to door. This means WE arrange for a taxi to come and pick you up from home and take you to the coach and back again at the end of the holiday. If you wish to travel to the coach with a friend then please let us know at time of booking and we will see what we can do to help.
